"Floriography" Website Prototype and Front-End Development

Floriography is a responsive website exploring the history and cultural significance of floriography— the practice of assigning symbolic meanings to flowers. Designed to educate and visually delight, the site combines historical insight with a fresh, contemporary aesthetic. Wireframes and user flows were mapped to create an intuitive experience across multiple devices. Using Figma, I designed and prototyped responsive layouts optimized for display PCs, laptops, tablets, and smartphones—both in vertical and horizontal orientations. Interactive elements, hover states, and scroll-based animations were tested to maintain user engagement while ensuring accessibility and clarity.

The final prototype presents a cohesive, visually rich digital experience that educates users while celebrating the timeless art of flower symbolism. The project showcases a user-centered approach to design, with special attention to storytelling through visuals and responsive interaction.
