As a Graphic Designer for The Daily Iowan newspaper in Iowa City, I collaborated with a dynamic team to produce well-crafted news spreads, combining thoughtful typesetting with compelling illustrations and data-driven infographics. Contributing to a publication recognized with seven Pacemaker awards—including honors for both print and digital design—has been a rewarding experience and an important part of my professional growth. My role involved creating hand-drawn infographics using Procreate to visually communicate complex information clearly and engagingly. I typeset and designed layouts in Adobe InDesign, ensuring editorial content was presented with clarity, consistency, and a strong visual hierarchy across print and
digital platforms.
